If you missed part 1 of my Must Read Law Firm Marketing Books for 2015 you can find it here.

You might have noticed that the first book I suggested wasn’t all that much about law firm marketing. There’s a reason for that. Until you have the foundation in place to accept success and believe that you can do anything you put your mind to, all the how-to books in the world won’t help.

Which brings us to our next must read book for 2015.

This book is also not about marketing your law firm – not in the sense you are probably thinking of. But if you read this book and give it a chance to sink in, you will never look at the world, much less your business, the same way again.

This book is purely about mindset. It will get you to see yourself, and the world, not as a set of excuses, but as a set of preconceived ideas you are placing on it. It will also show you how to change your perception, to alter the way that you view the things that happen in your world, so that instead of dragging you down they lift you up.

The name of the book is The New Psycho-Cybernetics. The book was originally written by Maxwell Maltz, a plastic surgeon, but it was updated recently by Dan Kennedy, a business and marketing expert.

And again, if you aren’t interested in growing, if you aren’t interested in creating a successful law firm, then just keep doing what you are doing. If you are interested in change, then check this book out.
